We’re Not Going Anywhere

The Lord woke me this morning and gave me a verse for those who will hear. Isaiah 51:12 – Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and the son of a man who will be made like grass? Then on down to verse 16b – I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “You are My people”. Then over to Matt 5:5 – “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

Noah’s Ark riding on a swell after the Great Flood

If you think you’re leaving this earth in a secret disappearance, please unpack your bags. The earth is ours. God gave it to us and I plan on staying and seeing it taken away from the evil that is out there like in the days of Noah. God prepared an ark while the wicked were destroyed. He protected His people. When it was all over look who was truly left. His people. Go back and read the verses above. Then read the following:

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt: 24:37-39

Noah was left, folks. We’re not going anywhere.

About Jim

I'm a 72 yr old guy, who had worked in Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune for 28 yrs and now retired as of 31 Dec 16. I've worked in medical records, Health Benefits Department, Billing, the IT department and retired as the Personnel Security Manager for the hospital. I'm a musician and Corvette enthusiast. Yes, I have had two. I traded my second Corvette for a Harley Davidson Fat Boy mid-summer 2019. I've already ridden about seven thousand miles. I'm also searching for a fresh new outlook on life with new spiritual insight among other things. I was ordained a minister on 20190202. I've become certified with the American Chaplaincy Association through Aidan University in June '21. I've found that with the unconditional love of my companion, Libby Rowe life is complete through God. She's a beautiful, vibrant, giving woman who gives her all in everything she puts her mind to do. She and I married on 24 July 2015. She was ordained in February 2022. She has a blog too called Under a Carolina Moon. Give it a visit.
